This is a perfect little nature center for bringing a date to enjoy the great outdoors. Spring and Fall cool weather can make a experience like this unforgettable. The hike is not paved, and there are a few mildly challenging up-hill sections which make it just challenging enough even for an experienced hiker.
Part ot the trail runs along a small lake with a nice view, then the trail runs down along a nice slowly cascading creek that even gets some good white water action going outside of the summer months.
There are a handful of picnic tables, and grills, a small pavillion, and a small fishing lake with a dock. You and your date can choose to cookout, or grab a bite to go from one of the many close by dining options to enjoy lakeside after a nice hike. There is enough activity here to make one feel fairly safe even on a first date, and the trail head is maybe one minute from a major shopping area with a huge choice of dining options.
The trails are well marked, and there is a map at the head of the trail. The trails are sectioned off with a few different names, but all tie into one another, and all trails combined are just around a total of about two miles. One trail leads down to some civil war ruins as well.
Line Creek Nature center is located in Peachtree City Ga. which has a handful of regular activities, great dining and shopping options.
