This was a really neat little park I came across just off I-75 in Marietta. If your looking for a unique spot with a touch of romantic country wilderness right here in the City of Marietta, this is it.
This park is a collection of 19th century era cabins, and gristmill all nestled in a small park with a nice good size cascading creek running through it.
There are several really nice seating and picnics overlooking the creek and gristmill, and a handful of old 19th century barns and cabins. There are also rocking chairs on the cabin decks that make for a really nice shaded and cool peaceful spot to just sit and talk or read.
The barns have old Americana farming tools to add to the feel, and a old 19th century wagon.
This is even a great spot for a first date. The park is nestled in a mildly wooded area on the campus of Life College offering peace and quiet along with enough foot traffic and public presence to make a date feel safe. Add this to your list of quick and easy unique Atlanta Dating Ideas.

If you turn into the college entrance off of Cobb Parkway, the park
is situated about a mile in on your left side just below the lake. You
can park just accross the roadway from the parks entrance.
